May 14: Comm Arts Annual

Every time I post something about a contest I get the suspicion that I've lost you before I've gotten to the end of the first sentence. Maybe this is true. Hello?

I know you're busy, but seriously, you've already created your entry! Look to your favorite assignment that bloomed into an awesome portfolio piece, or think of that campaign that you had to do all the research for that turned out better than expected?

Use what you've got to enter these contests. If you make it, you've got great exposure and a nice claim to fame on your resume. If you don't, you're out forty bucks, but that's less than a parking ticket, which sucks more than not winning a contest. (Don't think too much about that logic. Please.)
